Faroe Petroleum has announced that the Shell-operated Portrush exploration well 6407/10-5 in PL793 has failed to encounter hydrocarbons and will be permanently plugged and abandoned.

France: Total sells a majority interest in Géosel to EDF Invest and Ardian

Total has agreed to sell an interest of 50% plus one share in Géosel to a 50-50 consortium composed of EDF Invest and Ardian. Géosel owns the Manosque underground storage facility in southeastern France and pipelines linking the facility to the oil terminals at Fos and Lavéra.
